As usual, we work up early and wondered around looking for a suitable spot for breakfast. Saw a roadside stall selling fish maw and decided to give it a try. For 30 bts a bowl, we were slurpping it down. ' Mortakteng, phang-yeow'. A stall selling bean curd then caught my eye and I decided to try it out too. Something very different from ours here. The bean curd was served with brown suger and ginger syrup, sprinkled with miniture 'yucharkuay'. |

We hurried back to our hotel, checked out and took a bus to Asoke MRT station. Got into another MRT to Ekamai Station where we took a southern bound express a bus to Pattaya. We were in Pattaya in the late afternoon and checked into BR Inn. For 350 Bts we were given a room with twin bed, hot bath and air-cond too. We got 50 Bts discount because Tee Meng was a Teowchew and so was the innkeeper. Rudy claimed relationship. But failed to get further reduction. |

We spent our time gallivanting and discovering Pattaya. For late lunch we had duck mee which was not to my taste. For dinner we had BBQ Udang Galah, tomyam, vege, fish and Singha Beer. For desert we had Thailand rambutans for 10 Bts a kilo. Rudy and Tee Meng regretted for not trying some fried scorpions and grasshoppers. Yuk!!! Ah Whatt and I went for Kanonchine again. |
