Woke up early after a good night
sleep. Ah Whatt and Rudy went down for a dip in our hotel's swimming pool.
We then walked around the hotel and found a chicken rice stall where we decided to have a try for breakfast. After breakfast, we hopped in the hotel's free shuttle service van to town which dropped us at the famous 'Si-bin Put'. Tee Meng bought some flowers and joss sticks to prayed for hormony, health and wealth. Rudy and I followed suite. There was a grand celebration there. There were Thai traditional musical group playing and Thai dancers. |
After praying, we took the sky train (MRT) to Chatuchak
and wandered in the cramped bazzar. The whole area was a maze. Bought some
dried squids but could not find the stall again when I decided to buy more.
I bought a pair of Levis jeans for 299 Bts and Rudy bought Beckham's T
Shirt for 150 Bts each and found that it cost RM350.00 here. Tee Meng nearly
bought a stall. Singapolian Kia-su one. Ah Whatt was calm and not frenzy
like us.
From Chatuchak we took a bus to Hualampong to have a good cup of Hailam Kopi O. We went to the China Town and landed in a small Kopi Tiam packed with middle-aged Chinese men. The Kopi O was very black and sweet and it came with a glass of chinese tea. Before we took a bus home, we had baked and spiced crabs apart form fried morning glory, tomyam and catfish. |
